The RF power tube shell with a metal base plate metal wall ceramic insulator structure is usually used to encapsulate GaAs or GaN solid-state microwave power devices above the S-band. The RF insulator ports of this type of product are designed with impedance matching to reduce insertion loss and return loss, and have excellent microwave transmission performance. The metal substrate material can be copper based composite materials such as oxygen free copper, tungsten copper, CMC, or CPC with high thermal conductivity to solve the heat dissipation problem of power tubes.
